even though i should be focusing on finals i thought i’d pop in for a quick minute. i actually stumbled upon this duo mid-research so i don’t feel all that guilty anywho!
bernd and hilla spent 45 years cultivating their work, documenting and studying consistencies, themes and differences amongst man-made industrial structures. and while it’ a great “documentation” of history, the way in which they’re graphically displayed also makes them a stunning piece of work to get lost in.
mind blown? me too.
